Happy Friday. You’ve made it to the end of the week!
This week, only a short update. I’ve received the first draft back from two of my beta readers and am working hard to tweak some of story before it goes out for its first set of edits.
This manuscript continues to grow in length and with the three additional scenes and chapter I’m adding, it has just crossed the path for being the longest first draft I’ve ever written.
With that being said, there are a few areas I think won’t make it to the second draft that have both my beta readers feel slow the story down. However, I may save them and use them as bonus material.
My next novella has been paused until mid week next week. I have until Sunday night to polish this draft up and that, of course, is the priority.
This weekend, my plan is to do some work on putting the summary and blurbs of the story together. Look for the cover reveal next month.
