Dear Readers,
Happy Monday. We are into a new week and officially into fall. It’s hard to fathom that the holidays are just around the corner.
Fall marks one of my favorite times of year. Not only are the leaves changing colors, but there is also a plethora of pumpkin items in the shops. Pumpkin, in case you weren’t aware, happens to be one my favorite flavors.
Stepping into Target this weekend, I intended to only buy a new notebook, but I walked out the door laden with pumpkin flavored bagels, pumpkin pie Milano cookies, pumpkin coffee, pumpkin chai, and pumpkin granola. Sad to say, it won’t last long in my household.
In other updates, I’m thrilled to announce the launching of my brand new author website, tomitabb.com. There is still quite a bit of work I’ll need to complete until I’m fully satisfied with it, but for now, it’s complete enough to replace my original WordPress site. If you’re able, please stop by and let me know what you think.
Earlier this morning, I also finished revising my first draft of my next book. It’s been sent over to one of my beta readers and I’m eager to hear what she thinks about the new ending. I’ve spent a large chunk of time researching the Jane Austen festival in Bath and I hope that you all will enjoy attending it through Sabrina’s story.
Finally, I should have an announcement on the cover and a potential publication date within the next three weeks. Sabina’s manuscript will be going off to my team of editors in late October/early November. I’m hoping to work through edits quickly, but it all will come down to how much my family allows my to hide in my office.
Hope you all have a wonderful week.
