Dear Readers,
Happy holidays. We are a few days out from Christmas and no matter what you celebrate, I hope you have a wonderful and festive season.
I am so thankful that beginning tomorrow, I have a few days off work. I have some writing time blocked into my schedule and Nora’s story is going to get a few new chapters written this week.
I’ve had so much fun in the meantime learning about dinosaurs : ) Lucas, Nora’s love interest, has a keen interest in them. Without revealing too much, let’s just say that the next book will have quite a bit about our ancient reptilian friends.
It’s so funny how sometimes characters that we authors intend to be side or minor characters begin to take on a life of their own. They refuse to settle quietly into the background and suddenly they demand to be heard.
This is exactly what has happened with Nora and Lucas.
Changing topics…has anyone else been excited for the debut of the new Netflix series “Break Point” in January? It’s based on the world of professional tennis. Rubs hands together eagerly
It’s inspired me to revive another short story that I pushed to the side when working on “More Than a Passing Shot.” Would you like to see another tennis story?
